📖 Plot / Overview

Here’s a summary of what happens in Krrish:

Krrish is a sequel to Koi... Mil Gaya (2003), where Krishna Mehra (son of Rohit Mehra) inherits extraordinary powers because of his father’s earlier alien-encounter.

Krishna grows up somewhat sheltered (raised by his grandmother in isolation) because of his abilities.

He meets Priya on a vacation, they develop a relationship; Priya returns to Singapore. Krishna misses her and follows/tries to connect.

He learns that there’s an evil scientist, Dr. Siddhant Arya, who wants to exploit technology/science connected with Krishna’s father (Rohit) to build something dangerous—something related to predicting the future, etc.

Krishna takes on the masked identity Krrish, using his powers to fight evil, rescue people—especially children in danger (for example, from a circus fire), and stop Dr. Arya’s harmful plan.

There is romantic subplot, family reunions, and finally Krrish confronting the villain and revealing his identity to those close to him.

⚙️ Production & Significance

Krrish had a large budget for its time (~₹40 crore) and was released on many prints (about 1000), which was big for Indian cinema then.

It was noted for its use of CGI, stunts, wire-work, and visual effects that were more ambitious than typical Bollywood action movies at that time. Hong Kong and Hollywood technical experts were involved.
